This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of central...east
central...south central and southeast Colorado.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Lingering snow showers will continue over the mountains and
higher terrain of Teller and El Paso County this morning. Patchy
freezing fog is possible for portions of the Palmer Divide. Light
accumulations of no more than an inch are anticipated.

Showers and high elevation snow showers, along with a few
thunderstorms, will develop later in the day over the higher
terrain and then move out over the plains during the evening.
There is low confidence (less than 30 percent) that some of these
showers and thunderstorms may produce flash flooding for burn scar
and urbanized areas. With some of the stronger storms, there
could be gusty winds up to 50 mph, hail up to half an inch in
diameter, and dangerous cloud to ground lightning. Across the
higher terrain, there could be a couple of additional inches of
snow, especially over the southern Sangre de Cristo and Wet
Mountains.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

Spotty critical fire weather conditions return to the San Luis
Valley and portions of the eastern plains on Tuesday and
Wednesday.

The next chance for showers and thunderstorms with higher
elevation snow will arrive late week as a disturbance moves
through the region.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Weather conditions that meet reporting criteria for spotters will
be possible over portions of the region.
